Since I use the software only for a week, I can only write a small review first.
Pleasing:
-How Already in LR5 there is a radial filter, since I come from LR4, I had him not to date yet. Especially for directing the gaze of this filter is just great.
-You Can now remove areas of the graduated filter again with a brush. I find a great new feature, you can nunr eg. The sky darken towering into the sky buildings but exclude them.
-Face: I find this feature just great. I'm too lazy to tag always everyone. This function will search for images from LR for faces and you can assign them then. Whether he has all faces found, I can not say. But felt he finds rather more faces than too few. The faces can be found relatively easily assign. I've just always 20-30 images marked and easily pulled into the desired folder persons.
Negative experiences:
-LR6 Should be faster than the previous versions: Whether LR6 is faster, I can not say. Feels like I feel nothing. However jerky LR6 with me properly, I had not at LR4 so. Especially when working with the Spot Healing Tool, LR6 hangs after every click a brief moment. This both with and without GPU.
-Diashow: I use the slideshow like to present the images. Since LR6 but there just doing some bugs.
-Partial He does not accept the edits and simply shows the unprocessed RAW image.
-Partial He zerhaut the pictures -> the lower half of the picture is normal, the top half displaced.
-The Full-screen slide show can not leave you -> either you come back out with ALT + F4 or Task Manager.
-no bug but a pity, I find that one pan and zoom while nothing can pretend. Part he zooms in addition the subject of what it looks a bit stupid.
Broadly LR6 is still a great software. But I hope that Adobe quickly improve still a lot. Currently, I would advise against upgrading to LR6. Hopefully it will get better soon, otherwise I work soon with LR4.
