Building
The board is placed in the middle of the table. Then the cards are mixed well with the motif side up, for each participating player five cards are counted. Added to this are 14 additional cards which together form a draw pile. The remaining cards are no longer needed for that round. The deck is also mixed and then 14 cards are placed them on the board. Finally, each player receives even 5 white betting chips and go.
The chips
There are chips at stake in three different colors. The white chips are among a, the red and the black for 5 for 25 points.
The question cards
Basically, there are four main categories in eye know of issues. These are:
This & That - Blue Cards
Nature & Co. = Green Cards
People & Characters = Red cards
Symbols = Yellow Cards
On the back of the card there are the questions and answers.
There are questions in the three levels of difficulty:
Level 1 - True or False
Here the player must only guess whether a statement is true or false.
Answered this question correctly, the player, his wager is doubled.
Stage 2 - Multiple Choice
The player gets three facts read and find the right must, depending on the question.
Answered the player this question correctly, so its use is tripled.
Stage 3 - Free issue
Here the player has to answer a question free.
Answered the player this question correctly, so its use is quadrupled.
Gameplay
The active player chooses one of the 14 train up cards and names the motif that he sees it.
The player to his right to take the card and looks at the questions / answer page, if this is correct.
a) He has guessed correctly
If the player has named the design properly, so he gets as a reward even the first white chip.
b) He has typed incorrectly
Now the player to the left of the player who has guessed wrong, may try his luck.
Will advise it properly the subject, he may bet and try to answer a question.
He also typed wrong is the next player's turn. Could not rename the players motif correct, the card is removed from the game and a card from the draw pile is placed on the empty seat.
After the player has named the subject properly and has it receive a white chip, he must bet and choose a question.
However, he must give up his wager (1 to 5 white chips), before he hears the question.
So he puts his bet on the game plan and then tells you what question he would like to solve.
The player to his right reads him the entsprechnde question.
a) The player answers the question correctly
Depending on the difficulty of the question, the player gets his wager is doubled, tripled or quadrupled.
He takes his profit to be and also the card whose question he has just answered. This can bring him at the end of the game again extra points.
b) The player answers the question incorrectly
The bet is lost and comes back into the reservoir.
The player gets the card but still.
On the vacant card box comes a new card and the next player's turn clockwise.
Full time
Once each player was five times his turn, the game ends.
Now the players still get extra points for their collected cards:
Three cards of one color = 5 extra points
Four cards of the same color = 10 extra points
A map of each color = 15 extra points
Five cards of same color = 20 extra points
Now each player counts his chips. The player with the most chips wins the game.
Play it smart - variant
In addition to normal play, there is also an app for iPhone and iPad.
Here you can decide how often may engage the player instead of a card for app.
The app displays a picture that is built up in different ways. Here, a counter runs backwards.
The player places 1 to 5 chips again and starts the screen layout. Recognizes the player's motive, he presses on the frame and stops time.
He calls the subject and presses again on the photo. This is then shown as a whole and the players can see whether the answer was correct. The longer you wait, the fewer chips you get, when you get to guess the picture.
How many times each has used the app, you hold quite analogous laid on a sheet of paper.
Small Conclusion
Eye Know is a very interesting quiz game. The fact that the player must first identify a motive, each player takes course only cards whose motive he knows. Whether he might then answer the question to is another matter. Even the True / False - Questions are often not easily and the open question sometimes very simple. But maybe not always. Fies so that you do not know the questions in advance when to bet. I am anyway not sure if that was the bet at all must be. Somehow the system comes across and can create frustration, if you put more than one chip and lose. That's why many players prefer to put some chips and took the True / False - question about the loss within limits and the possibility of a correct answer to keep up. In my test rounds the way was the Play it smart variant not touched by the players. The main reason is that the images are often composed of very small parts and the time is running really fast. The players intervened since prefer the cards in which you can think comfortably and without time pressure. In summary, one can say that with his eye Know 300 question cards provides long game fun for the whole family. Even younger kids can play if you just grabs a few animals and plants in the display cards.
My advice:
Power after each round an extra pile of cards played. Thus it prevents cards are played in the next round again and already out looking for players known card / answers. With 300 cards should be taken care of for some time for fun.
