First, the high-quality finish striking the Navigon 6310 works and is just precious.
The standard task navigating the Navi done with flying colors, to the possibility routes lock me like. My earlier Navi wanted me always by sending a construction site in the middle of Budapest ... City 3D is a nice feature and makes it easier to find their way in a huge city. However, many modeled attractions (eg Ringstrasse in Vienna) is displayed, actually runs a small comic film but quite distracting. TMC, TMC also + (in AT free) runs without complaint. A weakness appears (as the last device) to be the slow satellite acquisition, on average it takes three minutes until the position is fixed. In city traffic, this is clearly too long. Maybe it goes overland with a clear view snappier, but that there is not so important. The voice message is clear, well accentuated and easily understood.
The as "2.0" touted voice control has high entertainment value. If the announced address will be displayed as text, there are some laughs, because in most cases the result has nothing to do with the announcement. At least Yes / Nee (!) And numeric work quite well. Or maybe I need to practice, too. However, the address on the screen thanks to the large numbers can be entered very easily manually.
The Bluetooth hands-free system would be a great thing, once "a truly hands" and the Navi connects when getting into the car without any problems and takes over the mobile communications, including access to the phone book in the mobile phone. "If," because with me unfortunately always hangs copying the phonebook (several hundred entries). Then only helps the Navi shortly to evade the charging cable to disconnect and reconnect. Copies were then although many entries, but not all, and many with missing tags. Now as a workaround to choose the contact in the phone and the navigation system and then picks up the call.
I think the Phonebook copy should be able to fix with a firmware update, the device would get top marks from me.
