The 300 pages devour quickly but once the Linoge motivation explained ... Everything is predictable ... EVERYTHING!
So I read the last 150 pages, thinking "why he has botched the end?"
I expected maybe too much. Is readable but not too many surprises which is a pity given the atmosphere introduction throughout the book ...
Then (spoilers) there are some passages that cool to me when describing Linoge in the sky, a mage holding a wand ... I think of Harry Potter! And impossible to find a disturbing side to these scenes ... We do not know what this Linoge ... A demon? A mage? both?
The ideas are very good but some details are crumbling everything else ...
