This band (s) from Bavaria is probably one of the most extraordinary musical acts that exist at the time in Germany. Five musicians from completely different scenes have joined forces five years ago according to the model of African-American brass bands to start with trumpet, trombone, tuba, bass and drums an original, musical hurricane with the premise: "We have intentionally omitted all harmony instruments. Jazz needs to be loud and funny! " And what LaBrassBanda abfeiert there goes like Schmitz cat and is still surprisingly varied. Succinct wind massively supported by a strong rhythm section can be but times not stylistically stuck in one drawer: Balkan beats, jazz-funk, reggae, ska, indie, folk to an impression of nature-techno and electro-pop by the sometimes extremely deep and rich bass (ent) charges arises. And then there's also the song, Bavarian in feistestem which surprisingly not regional folk to come off, but rather an international cosmopolitan, precisely because the words are not always understood all an amazing phenomenon. Sure you can kind of music, which is almost always full, goes forward, sometimes even a bit annoying. But LaBrassBanda make up Abgehmusik that primarily stimulate to dance and he shall prepare fun and succeed par excellence. And live are the guys anyway once a (natural) event.
