WYWH was for me ever since the first hearing in the 70s one of the most impressive sound experiences. Music for dipping. A music that evolved in a unique way and enhances but never loud or krachig. Beautiful guitar playing, very soulful lyrics. And of course, the unique sound fields of the keyboards. One in very complete work.
Even then I wanted more room for this kind of music, even more sound. And that's what you get with this new mix. Fortunately a sound which, waived grandstanding as they may be desirable in films and necessary. Nevertheless, the disc holds surprises that it is worth discovering. Tell them I'm not here ;-)
What also fascinates me is the clear separation of the individual voices. After all, come the Master of 1975! no noise, powerful bass without distortion. After the first listening (of course, in one piece) I just sat there and thought to myself: what was done at that time for great music.
The equipment is well advised to complete with the postcards. Again iTuner will lament: "... that fits not at all in my shelf." Well, book is not the same book, CD not the same CD, SA-CD is not equal to SA-CD ... But you will already find an optimal solution to the stand-up problem. Or maybe put it simply?
A small gripe I have yet: the SA-CD is not easy to get, for example, not on Amazon. Supposedly it is limited to a few pieces. A small edition can I understand, so dear to access quickly. But only if you appreciate good music and good sound white!
