After I bought the device last fall at the company. Primopet, I wanted to assemble it. Since the assembly was not explained in the manual, I asked the company to a detailed BA, but they could not deliver.
It was about already passed some time, and I needed the device therefore in the year no longer. That is why I have assembled and started until this spring before Pentecost.
While it jumped a few times pulling on but after a few times took accelerate the engine no more gas in. A friend built apart the throttle and found that on the plastic part with the one on the gas and on which the Bowden cable is attached, this was torn.
I wrote the company. Primopet (all by email) and stated that the damage had already occurred during the first use and asked as to send me a plastic lever, so I can work with the device.
Unfortunately, I got the answer that the device was in use for over 6 months, and because the device would have been sold without warranty (which I did not realize) that I should prove that we are dealing with a material or production defects.
I wrote back and explained that I had written that it was happening at first use and as a part but could not cost much, but was told that the company just wants to do something, if I prove by an independent valuer can that it is a material or manufacturing defect.
For me it was but not so much about the warranty, but since it involves only a plastic piece that not much can cost; that's why I wrote the company may she sell me as a part of, so I can operate the unit finally.
I then got an email with two addresses of websites of the company. There I could spare parts, which the company has for the device found. There, however, no spare parts were unfortunately to find and now I knew why the company behaves.
They sold more funny such devices, but can provide a single spare part.
I then wrote again, that it was but an absurdity, devices for sale with no guarantee, for you do not have spare parts and asked again about to tell me where I can get spare parts or to tell me the manufacturer's address.
Since then, the company has Primopet but unfortunately no longer in touch with me.
I has always been assumed that one always has a warranty for devices that are sold in Germany and also get spare parts. That was probably naive and I have been disabused.
When searching the internet I found out that it the device is a replica of a device from China is and it's probably pretty impossible to get it in Germany spares.
So I must try probably to find someone who mends me the throttle and see how I can then work with the device. High hopes that I have for fun, are not left to me after reading some other reviews.
I spend the next time rather just more money for a decent device, as me to buy cheap junk.
