Come we were to present score the "Lone Ranger" a modern Western in the next Jhonny Depp days many of the old companions from Pirates of the Caribbean here, I was expecting a very similar score as then at Cäptn Jack I was surprised by all connections to works of this room was the smallest. She was there but very discreetly.
The overall sound of this album is very "big" is created, but with a lot more real instruments and sounds as the Man of Steel it was. The Western Feeling comes by and one can not deny to be composed without love of music. Room has been on a small scale with Rango shown that he can Western. Again, we hear a lot from the typical "epic Remote Control" sound but stop with a rather light playful western slope.
What really bothered me was the great connection from the Lone Ranger to Illuminati, something I did not expect. DC in 2 Track: Absurdity sounds an issue which is very similar to the 160 BPM theme of Angels and Demons is, only with other instruments, later gets even a similar chorus added, it sounds great, but the resemblance is serious. Even with Sherlock Holmes and his instruments will be operated rich. This can be understood as a criticism, but need not be, since it at no time sounds bad. Rather the contrary it sounds very fresh, a lot fresher than it was even more the case with Man of Steel. Parts of Sherlock Holmes 2 "to the Opera" can be found in "The Railroad Waits for No One" but the music never loses Zeiutpunkt the mixture as somehow quirky and impressive modern - very appropriate! 5/5 of this song
The William Tell Overture "Finale" can be due to the actual idea already hate, but similar to the outspoken copying much of Rango and the Valkyries, or you can find it brilliant. I think it's great because the transitions from actually known piece to Hans Zimmer's issues is very fluent and it's a 10 minute Rit is at no time is boring.
"Home" is wonderful because quiet and down to earth. There is much to come down and provides a wonderful contrast to the loud and fast that seems to accompany room more frequently. 5/5 for
"Silver" at the beginning of the album derives this impressive one, wistful and yet full of hope it builds up slowly and you can almost see the scenery in front of the eye, the mountains and the sunset 5/5 also for
So how do I evaluate this score concludes. It is good, in some places even very good, but this class can not hold over the entire distance. Also it lacks the complete autonomous feeling what Angels and Demons (even if was already Copied here from Da Vinci Code) or Pirates of the Caribbean had. The anleien to known material from rooms in some places simply too big for me to give 5 stars. Who does not bother who gets an impressive Western with lots of variety, feeling soweie pace and great feeling from the first to the last note. It's not the room that work best, but a clear hint in the right direction.
Let the ride begin!
