Screen:
I find good, colors are fine. I would like applied a protective film, but I am a failure. In the second experiment (with another product) went well there, you have to try a little.
Camera:
Is not worth much. In good light, the pictures are okay, but with pictures indoors it roars like wind. The Windows camera app is crap and gave up the ghost on the second day. Unfortunately, the app does not uninstall. Fortunately, the more reliable of Asus.
Keyboard:
Not very pleasant. The whole thing vibrates quite clearly, as if a cavity underneath.
Sound:
Reichts for everyday life.
Connection to the grid:
Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. Tethering I have not tried yet.
Conclusion?
If you charge the battery, the device can not be readily re-start, you have to re-boot. This does not take long, but makes for irritation.
Basically, I am satisfied with the device, but not with Windows 8. The internal memory has 32GB, so I've used an SD card with 64GB. Unfortunately, Windows 8 not allowed to install apps on the map. Even Dropbox allows Windows no storage on a removable storage device.
(What so is not entirely true. Storing the data on the card denied the program. On the SHDD that is identified by Windows as well as a removable disk, the data directory can be very well set up. But that does not help me, because I want the main Data have always with you. The advertised on the net going through renaming the drives did not work.)
The result is that the internal memory is already pretty full.
The back and forth between tile surface and Windows desktop is not particularly helpful.
In the Calendar app on Windows synchronization did not work with Google. I use OneCalendar instead.
The Mail app in Windows is not the bringer. Looks nice, but the functions are very basic, especially attachments are a nightmare. Maybe I'll get more on Thunderbird to even if I then the trouble with the calendars could have saved me.
