Previous mouse: Razer Naga Molten Core (2x defective - Doppeklickbug Right MT - Model Amazon price refund since been discontinued).
Since my new Nagas are too expensive, I looked around elsewhere.
tested mice from these in this order:
Logitech G600: Eliminated because jumping mouse pointer to the top right
Logitech G602: too heavy - falls out of my hands when pulling in, otherwise I would keep them because the rest was appealing.
Logitech Proteus Core: mouse wheel Unfortunately unacceptable, otherwise very good.
Logitech G500S: whimpers, cats and I are crazy.
That's it for me then first with a Logitech-investment (unfortunately - MX518 and G5 I still in use and running like the first day)
Then someone suggested in a forum this mouse.
Short My rating:
Positives:
- Very good workmanship
- Wheel should be like a mouse wheel, handy and quiet and no 4-way
- Precise mouse clicks
- Side buttons act with value and tactile feedback is good (little miss clicks in 3D shooters in stressful situations). The first 6 buttons are easily distinguished from one another. The keys 7-12 are of something difficult to achieve.
- Lighting adaptable
- Cable is very long, and seems durable gesleeved
- Gleitpads are good and there are even spare pads case
- 8 insertable weights (have 3 pieces in it)
- Odorless
- Can lift well
- Sensor affords no errors
- Surface material grip and schmutzunanfällig
Neutral:
- Red wire and red bottom is a matter of taste.
- Drivers generally OK
- So much DPI needs nobody (16400)
- Drivers already old, future support questionable
- "Fire Key" to the left of the Mausaste either buggy or the games supported is not the way it is intended. But can one drauflegen other functions.
- Mausradbeleuchtung indicates DPI stage, however, is a different color than the rest of the mouse lights.
Negatives:
- Mouse Acceleration (not dpi) can not be adjusted continuously although a slider in the drivers is available. I can choose to only 3 stages, possibly buggy
- Mausradscrollspeed (lines) is somehow not einzustelln properly.
- DPI setting very friemelig because I move in 800-2000er area and the regulator is very small.
Not tested:
- Macros (functional but there)
Conclusion: good mouse with very good price / performance ratio.
With some better drivers and perhaps only 8000 dpi there would loose 5 stars from me.
