As I read about a man who finds nothing new to Nevermind. From a man who says Polly and lithium catch "exactly" equal to. And from a man who does not understand the music of a dumb junkies.
So - something completely neutral on the matter: criticism back and forth - each his own opinion. Do not like any
BUT:
-> This CD is almost 20 years old - what Kurt Cobain and Nirvana have made at that time, was such an announcement and revolutionized (Attention now) the world of that time. What in utero terms - I have to say that I better find the album, because it's just raw and real about the true Cobainsound sounds ... like he always wanted. Each producer will confirm you (and I know because half a dozen): all of the songs on Nevermind and In Utero one could publish a Singles confidently because they just have such strong melodies. Enjoyment!
-> Cobain was a brilliant lyricist. His lyrics are of such a depth and creativity in tonal leadership that after only by Trent Reznor (this is the love of Nine Inch Nails music experts) will be topped my knowledge. Whoever does not understand the songs or not to interpret white - can give no opinion, that he does not like the music when he does not even know what it is.
To understand a little bit - to listen NOT Teen Spirit or lithium or one of the other little songs Pop that are not already liked Cobain himself.
Listen: "On A Plain", "Heart-Shaped Box", "Scentless Apprentice" or "Lounge Act"
-> No one says that Nirvana has fabricated musical masterpieces as "Stairway To Heaven", "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Nothing Else Matters".
Nirvana songs are simple like children's songs - but who says that music has to be a highly complex construct ever, so it is good music? Nobody.
Nirvana music draws from another:
- It is 100% real (every syllable is 100% man-made Cobain ... yes he is a man)
- It was revolutionary in the hardness and the Simplicissimus at the time
- And to the people who said "wow ... as a junkie writes 5 Songs":
-> Cobain 3 years was really in business - at the time there were more than 100 songs that he wrote. This output has today not a single musician more (one probably still Trent Reznor). Look at how much time Metallica, AC / DC or something that needs a band - the rather take your time and have a stopgap on their albums on it.
And now looking times to really "weak" or songs on Nevermind In Utero.
----------------
These are simply facts. Sympathy or antipathy or not - as I said. It's a matter of taste. But certain things you have as small fish and small light on this globe just once acknowledge respectfully. And Nirvana - is one of these things.
So - write your opinion - but shows respect for the work
