After 3 years of operation, the heart rate information on my Garmin Edge 800 were become sinnfrei. Usually only a constant heart rate value was shown more. After the battery was intact, the sensor or the chest strap came as a likely source of error in question. Due to the mechanical stress of the chest strap through the fitting and removal was to suggest that the chest was the culprit. This assumption was confirmed by Internet searches. So why then also renew the sensor.
The delivery of the chest strap was prompt and my guess was confirmed. Now the heart rate on my Garmin Edge 800 is again correct.
