Hell is waiting ...

Actually, you can only underline once more what my predecessors have already written about this brilliant album. Certainly the most unusual sounding Slayer record. I also know from other bands no LP, which is so bleak and yet so brutal. Here hardness is less generated by speed or fat sound than by an apocalyptic mood that runs through all the songs. (As one already observes this sentence construct the music almost defies description.) So there is actually (despite my Anspieltipps) no "hit". "Hell Awaits" is an album that you simply must reinziehen straight. Anyway, listen, and even in our fast-paced just have the patience to do that several times. It is worth it. Promised.

A recommendation for all those this record I would like nevertheless: Anathema with PENTECOST III. Although from a completely different musical corner, but conveys a similar gloomy feeling.
