Maybe this review is not entirely objective, but no matter. I got me this CD a few years ago bought in summer, when I suffered the worst heartbreak of my life; had completely unexpectedly and unprepared in an unfamiliar city, met my first love (with his wife -_-) I was not over him, and the experience has spoiled me my whole summer; I cried for days terribly. The CD has then somehow comforted me, Annie sings just about the subject lost love, and find yourself again and so on. The plate was then up honestly for weeks and down. Annie's cool voice here has just the right blend of comfort, soothing and temperament. Even without heartache it fits in my opinion to almost any occasion in the player - Spring u. Autumn afternoons, Freundinnentag, waiting for the rendezvous, which will be released at any moment, Bath Session, etc. Despite the melancholy theme that runs through the whole album, it has a strange lightness that is not intrusive. Pavement Cracks is one of my favorites, and the powerful Loneliness. Five star there not only because of the creepy cover.
