But the latter, totally absorbed in art, becomes overwhelmed by his half-brother Royal who maneuver behind the scenes for power. And when Truth thought to leave to find the Elders could provide the definitive solution to the troubles of six duchies, he abandoned his wife and his liege Kettricken Fitz in the clutches of a powerful schemer.

After a disappointing second volume at both the pace and content, this third album (second part) catches up totally and completely the damage. Denser, darker, more tortuous. Without being shot action, is not the subject of this series, the chain of events, conspiracies unravel or rather find their culmination.
In this terrible and vile Royal, as we love to hate him. There would be no story without his shenanigans.
