Pro:
Works on standard laptops out-of-the-box
Runs on Linux OS
M-discs are written and read without problems

Cons:
Does not work for the new Microsoft Surface Pro 3,
because it seems that the GP50NB40 to high peak currents
draws. (Or can the Surface Pro deliver enough power?)
The MS Surface Pro 3 disables the USB port
and the message "Power surge on the USB port - USB Unknown Device
needs more power than the port can supply. "
