High power consumption and droning subwoofer is switched off

When the unit is turned on, it is the way 5 watts of power consumption. The power consumption is therefore reduced when switching off only by 40%. I actually expect from a device with power switch, that it really is and not sucking on the line. You have to say that the 3 Watt permanent power consumption at an annual rate not go to the money, even if you leave the speakers around the clock every day of the socket. Nevertheless, the wasted energy and it should not be. Even my TV and my hi-fi system draw in standby mode together less than 0.5 watts. And there's even a stand-by mode and not "completely off".
I want to talk in my review but not only the power consumption and the hum. Otherwise, I think the speaker system very good for the price and I will also have continuous use. The subwoofer gets a decent bass now and the wired remote control with volume control, the two ports for headphones and microphone and the A / Ausschalteknopf is extremely practical. Schade stop only that regarding the Ausschalteknopf. Power consumption for the feet is.
