The silicone baking mat is easy to clean and is completely odorless.
When I made the first time so macarons, I made the mistake to fill the circles.
The dough was not in the wells and I had after baking a large Macaron; o) - that's what happened, because I had taken twice as much dough.
Here's my tip:
In the center of the circle inject a small Teigberg thereby be careful to remain free to the edge for about 0.5 cm.
If all 48 wells are filled with dough, drop onto the working surface the baking tray a couple of times, so that the dough evenly and Macarons lose the large air bubbles (which is important for the Macarons are nice and smooth, and not burst)
1 x dough (45g almonds 75g icing sugar, 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon sugar) is sufficient for the complete 48 wells of the silicone baking mat.
