The unit is quiet and the water is very hot.
As a small disadvantage I feel that the unit when it is removed from the lower plate does not automatically position jumps to the "off". I got used to it and unlock the button now simply.
Otherwise this is a very nice device for a really reasonable price.
What I would like to commend is really easy filling with water. Pressing the top-mounted on the handle knob of the lid opens up and one can also warm a kettle well refill.
Among the other negative review I have to say that I have yet suffered no burns and it also can not understand, because the handle is very stable and very well balanced, so that can be done the pouring without problems with one hand and around the handle is all just made of plastic and is hot but there is by no means one burns the fingers.
Conclusion: device is highly recommended
