The plane does what he should. Works well in the lower clamping thickness range properly and has thereby also enough power. The volume is also OK and all together packed in a case with accessories which you want. A good carpenter would say I need a "reasonable" machine. But planed for a hobby craftsmen of sporadic times a board is perfectly adequate.
