The cruise disaster is a classic in thrillers. Despite some original elements, "Last call" does not renew the genre. Worse, the whole remains very simplified when I would have hoped the psychological depth ... In the case of a family left to itself, I was expecting more details about the characters, which aroused the interest despite their attributes some archetypal (a bohemian uncle, mother monopolized by his cardiologist by trade, and the three children: an anorexic brilliant student, a layabout smoking joints and a mischievous little chubby). Just about the conditions of their survival, I would have appreciated more developments on their feelings and their environment but they ultimately serve to spare a few twists. Of course, history shows, as expected, a family gathers best in adversity that during holidays mundane but it does so without subtlety. The desire to know the outcome led me to the last page but I finished disappointed.
