I have the reception strength is not accurately measured it. The only clue is the bar graph of the signal strength in your system tray (bottom right). If we assume that each bar indicates 20%, we would be in five solid bars in the area reserved by 81% to 100%. As mentioned I had input with the small standard antennas two to three, ie at least 21% -. 60%. As it often fluctuated between two and three I'm assuming that the reception was just before three, let's say just about 50%.
After installing the antennas, I now constantly full four beams, ie min. 61% receive constant. As it often jumps to five full bar I assume here too that the reception is applied shortly before the fifth bar, so appreciated there are thus around 70% constant reception, leaping to mind. 81%.
Accordingly, I brought these two antennas a significant improvement. A strong buy recommendation so!
To "design" the antennas I have two pictures uploaded as you can see under the customer images. The antennas are really huge! about 40 cm long are the beasts. I have not caught laughing as I opened the package. Do not bother me now, but I could imagine that such an enormous size is not all be the case. By the time they are to be installed on a router is what visible erected.
However, I myself also had problems because of the size. Actually I wanted to align both antennas parallel to each other as this would be the most sense as I was told. Unfortunately, the connections to my network card is only about 1 cm apart eliminator. So when I (as seen on the picture of me) wants to place an angle the antennas, the tilting joint of the antenna bends forward and the "butt" poking an antenna against the second. So the installation was only possible where one of the antennas went straight up and only the second was dumped.
All in all I'm very happy with the product.
Update 02/15: In one of the two antennas, the rotating mechanism to align the antenna (not the tilting joint) is now no longer "fixed" enough, probably too much room. The antenna can therefore be no longer Horizontal Align otherwise they will all the way down "falls" and lands with the point on the ground. Have therefore the screw at the other slot antenna taken (since only vertical attached) still in a rather horizontal tilted position "hold" and can now be screwed vertically with the loose rotating mechanism on the other slot. I hope this lasts longer or is less game in the rotation mechanism, and here they can keep the weight of the antenna so.
The tilting joint itself is in both antennas still very strong and keeps it in the appropriate position.
