The music combines several styles or is very varied! Be it dramatic and exciting pieces like "Saving Crusoe" and "The Net", amusing passages ("The Dinner Party") or fantastically beautiful moments in "Swimming" ... Howard gives us all that and more. The score looks absolutely harmonious and kidnapped one immediately after the first few seconds! Striking and characterizing are of course the Scottish melodies that wonderful arrive in the soundtrack.
Plus, there's the really beautiful (and absolutely not cheesy) song "Back Where You Belong" by Sinead O'Connor and a great suite of the Chieftains.
The music sometimes reminds a little of Howard's work, "Peter Pan" because they just colorful and beautiful works.
And once again proves James that he simply draufhat! "Water Horse" is an equally beautiful soundtrack, like Howard's previous works, perhaps not the best, but a listening experience!
