The functions convince me. Although I had received a guide with 4-digit code, the text of the manual is true but only partially consistent with the operation. Here you have to be very inventive in order to arrive at the actual functional processes. Like some other commentators also I add attached with a description of the HT-4503.
Operation HT-4503:
Setting the FB on a device with device code:
(Etc. TV, Audio, Aux) hold units button until the Power button lights up -; This lights up permanently.
- Then, enter the 4-digit code, which is reported in the booklet for the device with the digit keys.
- After the Power button is automatically terminated, the code is accepted. Now the device with the FB should be controllable, at least in the basic functions.
- If it does not work right away, then try out the codes for the other devices manufacturer. Mostly there are original remote controls that can operate more than one device (eg, FB for TV's and VCR's can sometimes dreary DVBT control's from the same manufacturer or vice versa)
Setting the FB on a device whose device code can not be found (automatic search):
Hold device key you want to program, pressed -.
- After about 3 seconds the Power button lights up
- Now press additionally the Setup button, dis the Power button flashes.
- Now release the device button, the power button starts to flash.
- Then release the Setup button.
- The automatic search begins (short flashes with 2 seconds pause).
- FB hold on the device to be switched off (it must have been turned on to previously).
- If the unit turns off, immediately press the device key to be occupied before the search continues. Please focus on this moment, since the scan can take several minutes.
Show Code:
- Device key print and hold, then press the 1 key. Now the number of blinks counted (if it does not flash, then the digit zero).
- The whole of the 2nd to 4th digit of the code with device key + numeric key 2-4 repeat in sequence.
- The code can be read out, entered later, if necessary directly (see above).
Learning function:
The learning function requires a device allocation, so they can not be used if there is no basic functions (at least once or Deactivating) are stored. It can be used phone functions from your original remote. When the original remote control is not present, then there is no way for learning functions. When programming the universal remote control and the original remote control with LED's have to deal aligned close to each other (distance 0-3 cm).
How the assignment:
- Press device key and learning function key simultaneously until Power button glows continuously.
- Now press on the universal remote control button briefly, you want to program (do not hold).
- Immediately after the original remote key, whose function is to be transferred (the name of the buttons does not matter)
- The Power button blinks after the transfer of the function to three times and then lights up again permanently.
- Now the learning button for MDT. Keep pressed for 1 second, and that's it.
