Lost on a desert island, far from civilization, a group of children aged 6 to 13 years faces a much different reality all they have known so far.
Satisfied with this, the children began to play the Robinsons on school holiday background; but their did not take long to see their dream collapse. Early on, they had to organize themselves in order to survive in a hostile and wild universe. Thus creates a micro-society enmenant with it all the vicissitudes of life in the small group. Faced with Ralph improvised chief and supreme decision stands fast opposition. This power struggle will eventually divide the group into two hostile clans. But how?
In this work, taking inocent human, and what the child naive and putting in the hands of it a virgin nature, pure and free of any defects, William Golding intends to demonstrate the natural inclination of man towards the conflict and greed for power.
- What are we willing to do to power?
- The society in which we live would not it be different?
- Compliance with the rules he always require domination?
- The man he necessarily needs a leader?
These are questions posed W.Golding through this magnificent work.
If we analyze more ready this work intends to focus the development of human societies, the constitution of the kingdoms and clan wars often the result of one or a few charismatic men. That bhéaba the history of mankind.
