I enjoyed her first book City Of Bones much more and I even read the book reviews and ratings Relating to this one to prepare myself for something very different. It's not what I expected. I love the whole world of Clary, most of all I love that Clary is getting so independent, but I still Could not quite get into it. I keep waiting for something to develop with Clary and Jace, but instead of developing this, the plot takes away from this at points. I hate that Jace and Clary think they are siblings. And Simon ought to have Remained human. But I have to stop there - I will not give away something special.
The book which written well though predictable. It was good, not great but still it was enjoyable. In a way, I would say it did what an interesting adventure. For me it was a little slow in the beginning. It took me awhile to get through, then it finally picked up. So I enjoyed the book somehow, but it is not a literary masterpiece By Any Means. Otherwise, I would have likely Given four stars.
