To start, the unit is quiet at low speed as indicated (at least when the unit is new). He seems to do his job, despite his fragile appearance, but it has a number of more or less embarrassing or disturbing defects.
1) Each time you press the buttons, the device emits a piercing beep. Too bad, we want to use this device in the room of our son who is very ill and the noise may wake him up. It is particularly troublesome that each stop (not just every time you unplug the plug, as indicated erroneously in the notice) all settings are lost. We must therefore make a series of beep to recover the old settings.
2) There is a UV function. But even when the unit is on the floor, one sees a part of the lamp through the air outlet grille of the front, so there is UV radiation, potentially dangerous to the eyes that s' escapes from the device. There is no warning in the instructions, but it does not mean that the danger does not exist. Scary.
3) The instructions had to be translated by google or something like that. I quote: "... used to heat the air to 30,000 ° C, which destroys red blood cells of bacteria ..."
4) Be careful to open the filter housing and remove the filter from its plastic packaging before first use. (If the filter obviously will not help). No warning is given in the instructions on it. So if you are curious ...

In short I am a little disappointed and skeptical. I will contact the provider (which the device is marked) to clarify the point of UV light.
