This coating of the pan is by no means cut resistant. Although I have geratzt in this expensive metal pan neither have been nor used abrasives for cleaning, the pan bottom throws after a few months bubbles, after a year come off strip and after 2 years all the spots. That's what I wanted to avoid, and now feel cheated out of my money through the promises in the product description.
