After around 1,000 TG I wanted to treat my first single lens mask me. Before the first use I have (let dry, reaming, etc.), the mask several times for several days and nights with all Möglchen means treated to minimize fogging (do that now not just for the first time, I thought). Toothpaste, Baybyshampoo, Spüli, soap and I know not all. In the first use (after I had torn the mask strap in my "old"), the mask is steamed up about 1 minute. And I do not mean "easier" fitting, but rather Finnish steam bath. Complete loss of vision and constantly blowing, until it became too stupid to me and I dove with the same 1/4 flooded mask to eliminate with a nod every few seconds the fog. But the kanns not be. Again pulled back from Asia back that same "anti-fogging" program a week tested last weekend at the swimming pool, Result: Still a complete fogging .... This is really a pity, because the mask a very high-end impression in terms of material and haptic / handling power and also "close" is (even with 3-day beard.). But what use to me the best super-dooper Chrystal 10xfach finished Hyper-glass and great processing when the mask the real purpose (good visibility when diving) so really not satisfied? Luckily I always have a spare mask here, now just the expensive Hollis spare, and I will continue to test any home remedies, in the hope that someday I can still dive with the mask. "More favorable" masks have as well, but I have never experienced a mask that has refused so steadfastly to give a clear view. In total at this price is very disappointing when the basics do not function. The many good reviews show me that this can also be an individual case may, and I congratulate everyone who can dive "symptom-free" with the mask.
