Sa my son very much like cooking MTI me he wished scih a "real knife". After einigeer deliberation we opted for the 16 cm Chef's knife as a "starter". With the length of the blade from the Jungkoch almost all cutting work can do. The knife is nice and sharp and keeps the focus (like all Wusthof knives that I have) very good. Duch good cutting behavior of offspring a) sense of achievement, b) fun cooking and c) is not cut because the knives eg tomatoes or other vegetables will not slip. Conclusion: a good quality is not cheap, but worth it. I personally still like to use my first iommer Wüsthof knife inzwsichen FST 30 (!) years old.
