Having had a problem with the motherboard of my old PC 10 years ... I have almost everything changes. My old hard drive 250 gb IDE was impossible to connect without an IDE SATA adapter. J have preferred not to tinker and have therefore chosen this converter. J was able to copy all the old files (photos, documents, etc. that were on my old drive)
Just connect the old drive to the connector, connect the (the?) Molex, connect to the PC, turn the connector and my old disk appears on my PC.
I ve just copy what I needed and my old utlise commme backup disk :-)
Very easy to use, very intuitive, very fast with a USB 3 port.
