The spoon is shaped bite-sized (I am not Breitmaulfrosch) and voluminous: I am hungry, I resent the Flachwassergeschlürfe from the pot with all modern conveniences "camping cutlery". The fork is, as it should be, a tool to poke and fix: For cutting probably everyone has a knife. Nevertheless, the fork has a fluted "cutting" for one-handed cutting of soft-boiled, but larger chunks of what was probably borrowed from the cake fork.
