After about two weeks a lot to me but unfortunately noticed other flaws that I have but unfortunately not as expected. I'll keep the TV in any case, but I would like to mention the following times, so that everyone more buyers may consider whether he can live with the shortcomings. Here I focus only on negative things; So all I do not abwerte now, is positive on the TV :-)
Is not good:
- The display actually reflected, but I think not so much that it interferes enormously. A candle can certainly have standing before him. But Daylight quality window should not be in the mirror, otherwise one really sees nothing .. but in which television is not that so? But the display is very bright.
- Clouding exists. So if you have an image with black borders, there looks dark gray shade. But it holds enormous in limits, so OK.
- Global Dimming. The TV has no Local Dimming LED, so it darkens (but that can be switched off) the backlight altogether down, when the image is dark in its entirety. This makes a nice deep black, but results in weak white picture content (eg starry sky) to gray darker patches of the white areas. With a little settings, but one should also be able to achieve a good black without Global Dimming. I think it's OK for the price ... LCDs with LED Local Dimming still cost around 500 EUR more ... and just that the black is a little blacker? ... In addition, LED local dimming Halo has effects that also ugly could be.
- Sound is .... without volume. Bass are probably generate little because of the flat shape. The equalizer also regulates only from 100Hz upwards. Look for normal TV is the sound but absolutely fine - no buzz or something.
- Display is highly angle dependent. That's too bad. Black levels are only good if you sit in front of TV. It goes up and to the side, the picture blurs fast and black levels are milky.
The display somehow attracts the way a little dust ... but it is more pleasant, a cleaning cloth, which may be moistened with water, thereby.
- 100Hz technology ... it is good, but only in text. Under normal cinema films but can in some films jump back and forth the image. Those who see movies that were filmed with Handycam is able to observe it. I have not succeeded, even in manual mode, the reciprocating herhüpfen the image to eliminate. Is OK, but if you stare it, it's annoying.
- Channel Management: the absolute disaster. Thanks to DVB-C can be received at the transmitter 350, which applies the television mercilessly alphabetically (!). So if you want to by ZDF "Das Erste" from "SAT.1" for "ProSieben" is quite the go. "Move" of time slots knows the television not only selecting channels under the category "Added" and turn the mark as "favorites". Nevertheless, the program places remain. Who then uses the EPG to see what ZDF offers today, which is so to channel 340, unfortunately, seen from "Das Erste", which is number 30, nothing. One can only umkopieren timeslots unfortunately, where you will overwrite the target program location. So you have to hinkopieren the target program location previously elsewhere, if you do not want to lose him. It takes hours (!), If you want to pick his favorite 40 stations forward to want to lose without any transmitter. Totally unacceptable, especially for the elderly. If one scans the way again, all new stations, the television overrides everything beautiful again alphabetically ....
Apart from the TV is very good multimedia features are great, holiday photo sessions make so fun. Design, appearance is also good. Particularly with HDTV, the TV display its strengths. Unfortunately, I can try not so much testing with HDTV (Bluray) movies. But even DVDs look seehr good! From the idea, it is great that there is now firmware updates even for televisions. Maybe the TV is still better with new software in time. A first update I've done, and that went very smooth ... However, many changes did not exist. But perhaps do someday something really "good" ....
Total: If you can live with the above-mentioned shortcomings, I can issue a strong buy recommendation.
