For me, the images are each only half scanned. It acts as if the hardware or the software does not know where the active scan line are. After a successful preview scan in SilverFast and selecting the entire slides or even a detail only the lower half of the image is scanned in each case. Then, the scanner rattles terribly because he möglichwerweise drives against the stop at the bottom. That sounds very unhealthy and completely scanned image I unfortunately do not get full resolution on SilverFast.
Suggestions of technical support from the manufacturer:
- Place the machine upside down and shake so that the mechanism triggers that could possibly be jammed by a bumpy transport -> did not work.
- Update SilverFast to the current version 8.0.1r16 -> I had done before, no effect.
