Well I like:
Situated + and put into operation the unit was in a few minutes. He just as quickly found on the network as the many Internet radio stations my Windows 7 PC.
+ The player's operation is intutitiv. Even without the manual I found myself quickly feel.
+ The remote control works in piano lacquer also quite fine and is equipped with many features.
+ The sound I like. Equalizer and "Full Sound" can be switched off. Here I had been afraid to be forced happy.
+ The player has good Wi-Fi reception. My second network player who MusicPal Freecom can not receive a sufficiently strong Wi-Fi signal for operation in the living room. If the signal from short times, has the NP 2500, even enough music in the buffer for a short further operation.
+ Turning my wireless router does not interfere with the NP 2500. When MusicPal I must, however, re-initiate the connection to the router.
+ The power supply is an economical and environmentally friendly. After all, the unit depends 24x7 with me on electricity.
What is unnecessary in my view:
° The ability to view photos on this tiny screen is a nice gag.
What I'm missing or did not work:
- The installation of the supplied software "Twonky" breaks on Windows 7 with me in the middle with an error message. Whether all the software or only portions are installed, I can not say, therefore. I have the software again completely uninstalled and I do not miss.
- The MusicPal displays at the radio stations with which bitrate post. This feature I have not yet discovered the NP 2500 and I miss a little.
Conclusion: I have expected for the money much less. Maybe I'm so surprised so positively. My personal comparison test against the Freecom MusicPal he clearly won. I recommend the NP in 2500 and would like to buy him back to me.
