Impressive speed but be careful, do not connect anywhere.

I get a write speed of 35 megabytes per second on average for small files (the contents of My Documents in Windows, which is about 20 GB) and 25 to 30 megabytes per second for larger files (by 1 6 GB).

Basically, I get read and write speeds approximately 4 times that I found on my USB 2.

That is very well but it's not a record - USB3 promises 10x rates exceeding USB2. Some key Lexar USB3 are somewhat faster than this (but somewhat more expensive too).

Warning: If your PC or laptop is not the year, it is quite possible that some of your USB ports may not be compatible USB3. In my case, my tower has two ports on the front and six behind. Now only two behind blue USB3 ports are compatible.

But even on a USB2 port, this key fact better than my previous Lexar USB2 ...

So very good buy for this price!
