As I continue a bad book and make it in keeping my level?
No development of the protagonist ()
Who needs character development when it can have America? Found them yet, "The Selection" in the first volume really stupid, was the busy clothes forget the concerns quickly. In "The Elite" happened something very dramatic and lets America fall into a deep black hole. Suddenly she finds it, the scales from your eyes, the show is so totally demeaning and the caste system is totally unfair!
* BRAVO AMERICA * So a Schnellmerkerin well!
The sad thing is, when America makes a step forward, it suffers a Brainlag and is thrown back. End of the story, it's that time again, as in the beginning.
No decision with respect to the love triangle ()
As can be seen in the content summary, America can not decide. Literally she pitied herself: "How is one to choose only between two equally good ways?" Oh Gottchen you poor girl, I know also not there. How about with no? We will probably not know until in 100 years, to also fall in America the penny times.
Many sites without action () Jealousy as "voltage" - () driver ()
The author manages to tell almost nothing to 300 pages. Whenever it was obviously in content, the author has placed a pseudo-decision. Time, America wants to get engaged with Maxon, then again secretly met with Aspen and in between a pile of jealousy. For jealousy are just the greatest! Shooting a guy from behind and upset yourself about it at that, he with another even talking about. Contradictory? No not at all.
If it were up to America, Aspen and Maxon need at least 2 meters safety distance to any females hold (except for the mother and the grandmother). If they fail to comply with the (as frequently happens, especially at Maxon, probably must be the principle of Selection) there is an attack, which has up to every trick. As can a the "men" almost feel sorry, but only almost, after all, they want yes necessarily end up with America.
A bit of "Shades of Grey" has hurt anybody ()
There is in the course of the book a "revelation" to which I no longer want to tell without spoilers. Fits in my opinion, absolutely not in the book in which the author has read too much "Shades of Grey"?
Logic - no thanks ()
The characters over themselves formally in proving their minds. Aspen is because even my highlight who thinks rebels steal books from a heavily guarded palace, only to use them as firewood. But America shoots from a bird by, sometimes holding a top-secret book that they may not have in the television camera.
Not quite so clever it if you have as a contestant to the prince's heart, an unfavorable rule. Namely: "no kiss before marriage". Thus Kiera Cass tops even Stephenie Meyer! To me, that is a culmination of prudery, or one may say "highlight" in this context at all? From all shake their heads in "The Elite" I get sore muscles almost. But nevermind, I knew what was coming towards me.
Conclusion: Somehow it Kiera Cass managed to write an equally unpretentious, rich drama and hardly serious book. After all, it is not a "letdown" I'm sure all idolize the "The Selection", see "The Elite" as great. This time I was warned and I have determined only half as much excited. No logic, no real action, no suspense, too much drama and no character development. It therefore has not changed compared to the first tape. To be honest, the book is hardly worth the paper on which it is printed. Luckily, there are e-books that protect the environment! Since I can not give me a clear conscience even the last band, because as before, I now want to know what cheese is still dovetailed completed.
