The Hunter: A very catchy and brisk opener, who incidentally also offers a really nice music video. The song is 100 percent retro and would have been up in the 80 ies and played down probably. One of the best retro songs I've ever heard, period!
WE ARE THE SEA: Has a very lively beautiful and unusual chorus. In this song, yes Helen describes her love and connection to the sea, and I think that this is very well conveyed by the euphoric atmosphere of the song.
HEARTS ON FIRE: simply a great and wonderful atmosphere, the refrain is very anthemic over and is already enshrined in the first time listening firmly in mind. Hearts on Fire reminds me of the mood and the Meldodie her something to Tomorrowland from Velocifero album.
VIOLET AFFAIR: Could a song from the 70 ies be, reminds me a bit of Abba. There is a total of the merriest and optimischste song dm album and has a very summery and warm atmosphere.
THE WIND BREEZES ON: One of gloomy songs on Crystal World, but has also re s very catchy melody and is also very nice and electronically.
SUGARLAND: One of my favorite songs on the album. It is the most energetic song and could also be published on Velocifero. The mood of Sugar Land is just great, it is both cheerful and forward driving and the other, it has somehow something .... ominous gloomy! The short guitar part of the song is by the way also just awesome !!!
HIGH ROAD: A beautiful music in pop style and eingängies Retro song that probably would have liked to become a hit as it did the Hunter in the 80.
LAURA: Wow! What a beautiful and melancholy sounding ballad geheimmnisvolle !!! Certainly the most melancholic song on the album, but also one of the most beautiful. Give you goosebumps!
SUBMARINER: Is very spährisch and dreamy and has an absolutely brilliant instrumental part at the end of the song that builds up more and more and a simply invites only to dream!
GOLD: Again a very melancholic ballad acting, a very untypical song but again lovely and very well suited with piano accompaniment and violins as subsided.
So overall Helen has since done a very good job, really nice that there are still so great music outside the chart pabulum .... thanks Helen :))
