For the actual product: The syrup, in particular Cola and Orange, are flavorful far of what one knows of branded goods. It comes not ran in a dream at Coca Cola products. That you should not expect so well.
The taste corresponds with the correct dosage rather the products of LIDL (Freeway brand). On the there is even ran pretty much.
Now however, it is a matter of taste whether you give these discounters like products. Since these do not sell little in Germany, I can understand that many people here speak of a super taste and are thrilled. After this taste you get super out with the syrup.
Unfortunately, one gets from 500ml syrup only about 12 liters of drink. Assuming a price of 3.99 euros (manufacturer's RRP) Thus we arrive at 33.3 cents / liter plus. Costs for water and wastewater paid lump sum (negligible) and the cost of the carbon dioxide cartridge (about 7 euros for effective 40 liters, a maximum of 60 with minimal addition of carbon dioxide) in the section so 17.5 cents / liter for effervescence.
We are selbstgesprudeltes refreshing drink at 50.8 cents / liter.
In the bill are still missing the one-time cost of the unit as well as the bottle and the cleaning effort.
Assuming a service life of 4 years for the device and a purchase price of 110 euros for equipment and 2 bottles, and a daily average of 2 liters are again 3.7 cents / liter for the device.
So final 54.5 cents plus. The purification effort good 56 cents / liter.
So bottom line, you get really to the price of Coca-Cola products.
Qualitatively (see ingredients used sweeteners) and taste we are however in the range of discount goods.
Everyone has to decide for themselves whether this luxury and most importantly the taste is worth the effort. My conclusion is that it is not worthwhile. Neither the work nor the costs pay off. It is minimally more expensive, or if the same price in the offer, to buy branded goods for 56-60 cents / liter.
For the undecided, I can only recommend the available food trade "Soda Mix Probierpackung". Also a cost of 3.99 euros and includes seven different types of syrup to taste through.
