I think about the specifications I need not lose much anyone can read. The subjective impression of the first Anfassens leaves the impression of something knarzendem plastic, a surprisingly good display, ruckligem Android 3.2 and a bad attitude sensor. But in detail:
The build quality is quite OK for the price range, but you should not expect too much. The leg that you can fold out of the back is a nice gimmick with which you can put the tablet on the table. The speakers are fine. The camera is good at most for video telephony. The battery lasts through quite well. The fact that I but again I can weglege the tablet during the day do not specify exact times. Can not complain about the weight of just over three hundred grams you.
The screen is nice and bright and also reaches half performance still good to read from. The resolution is sufficient for the size of Locker. If you have problems with finding the right size should know the 7 inches but is a bit small to browse properly, but sufficient. The best try. The touch screen is okay but compared to my Galaxy S2 but he is pretty bad there. Particularly during fast typing on the keyboard you realize that he is a bit sluggish.
What most annoys me is the immature Android 3.2. Enduring it comes to long stuttering. Sometimes just disappear all the icons for a short time. Many a crash programs. I do not know if it or the Android version or to the excessively slow processor comes to poor integration of the tablet is but I hope that even an update to Android 4. The program diversity is severely limited, and even some specially made for Tablets Apps do not fit entirely on the 7-inch screen. No comparison to the ingenious Android 2.3 on my phone.
Initially I had huge problems with the position sensor of the easy to completely wrong times turned the display. Even multiple calibrate did not help. Only resetting to factory defaults (which incidentally also put all my apps) brought improvement. Now he works quite decent but not as good as his Handyequivalent.
Charging via USB Micro makes me happy because it through the cell phone standard in the meantime almost everywhere we find a charger. The connect to the TV via HDMI just works, although the control in which the tablet into a kind of touchpad (like the laptop) is is a bit strange.
Conclusion: The Archos 70b IT is certainly not an alternative to a high-end Android tablet or an iPad but that it costs only one third of them. Taking this point into consideration the tablet to the ailing Android is actually quite OK. Anyone just starting and want to surf to something on the sofa should deal with it.
