Ingenious Remake

For me, and DuckTales is still one of the best cartoons ever created. Unfortunately Disney treated this license rather neglected. But now at last, after more than 20 years there are again replenishment in the form of a remake of the old NES / Game Boy classic from Capcom.

The love that was put into this remake is hard to beat. I as an old fan of the show know so many allusions to old episodes which put me in my childhood right repeatedly. Then there is the absolutely brilliant soundtrack and the near perfect gameplay. It's just a lot of fun to explore the level.

To top it off, there are the originals english Syncronsprecher from the series, thus the game feels much more like a long-lost episode of HD.

If I have to criticize something, it is the length. You get the game in 2-3 hours. However, the gameplay is so classic that you can play through it again and again.
