I love the family stories that span several generations. The story is built to 2 courses: the history of Carolina, great grandmother in the early 20th century and the history of his descendants today. As much the story of Caroline is exciting, psychological analysis of character is very interesting, as the characters of the two little girls are much less engaging and less worked. The ending is surprising and confusing Overall, the story is not unpleasant to read, I'm not bothered me.
