It is drawn in such a dense atmosphere as I have rarely experienced in an MMORPG. Unlike many other MMORPGs where the quests more casually "executing" to his character level up, spin the quests in The Secret World's many beautifully crafted stories again. In no other MMORPG I have ever experienced such a dense atmosphere as here. It's just fun to experience the tasks here.
The graphics are the best I've ever seen in an MMORPG personally. However, this has the drawback that you need a reasonably current computer to get the full benefit of The Secret World. My test machine was 1 year old and it went very well on maximum details.
The game is completely set to music, unless a quest consists of a silent object (such as a package that can be found in a circling of zombies and vans have to deliver). And the German Syncronisation this setting is first class and absolutely exemplary.
Even texts, such as documents that can be found throughout the game in cursive were accurately transferred into German, rather than a loose translation as is customary at the bottom.
The music and sound effects are consistent and fit seamlessly into the murky affairs of The Secret World.
The combat system is also completely different way than usual. There is neither level nor classes. Man creates his char according to his preferences.
This involves just the beginning of the game so many possibilities that could be put off a lot of players because they lose track. However, you can initially focus on prefabricated decks which one can make with respect to his individual or Charaktaraufbau then ultimately go their own ways.
The instances I have seen so far, calling for a lot of movement, tactics and strategy. They, too, belong to the most interesting thing I've seen so far to group instances.
This review refers to the first two areas of The Secret World, as for a detailed review, a far longer period should be available.
From my The Secret World would get 4.5 Stars. Since the trend is poorly conceived höhrern region than in the lower is I give 5!
By the way.
Too bad the reviews as the two-line SWTOR compared with its 1 star what this game definitely does not deserve, here cast a bad image where there is no reason to do so. For SWTOR I can say. I had fun with it 3 months, but could not keep me.
UPDATE (4 weeks after release)
I can from my side to say that the rating has not changed. Meanwhile, I have six areas durchgequestet, 2 Quest areas still free and play happily in the endgame. The Elite and Nightmare instances are extremely funny, and Nightmare quite demanding and not too light, so that you have been looking for something wipen with his group on any first kill a boss there super well in my opinion. Nor is it only the Equip the later motivated, you can always find another skill one wishes to learn (or required for Nightmare) and for the points you need to back him eventually be able to test.
A few bugs have crept in, they disturb me personally less, apart from the chat bug that the / channel not say often indicates what is unfortunately fatal for role players.
If these bugs have been fixed and some combat animations be graphically beautiful, had the game of my 4.8 stars. It remains as it was in the beginning to 4.5 I in 5 high round.
