INTRODUCTION
After 10 years followed by 4 years Nokia Samsung (water- and shockproof B2100) now but due to the practical advantages (and social pressure;)) ... a smartphone namely noisy CHIP that the early praise as a "value-winner "excellent Moto G, after I have previously looked rather disrespectfully to Motorola and had me oriented mainstream moderate on Android-level to Samsung and Sony.
Initial start-up
After my SIM card was trimmed to Micro-SIM, the connection went to the home Wi-Fi with the access code problem. Only the mobile Internet for take-away did not want to just work! After Internet research then helped the surprisingly strange tip, sometimes short to activate the flight mode on and off again ... since then everything works perfectly .... only logic we must not try to get there :)
Must create one that for his contacts but whatever kind Google / Microsoft / otherwise account, is more than annoying. I have instead an old-school app installed me (SIM Contacts) that it will continue to allow me to save contacts on the SIM card. Once over loaded from the SIM card on your mobile phone I have the contacts but still. Overall, a bit annoying that you somehow my apparently no (Android?) - Can have smartphone without masses of data collected from a ..... and because the apps are not included (have only rudimentary sooooo [SIM Contacts, flashlight, Runkeeper and course WhatsApp], but you often have all sorts allow installing!).
HANDLING + INNER VALUES
Phone fits comfortably in your hand and is not toooo big ... right (but have long fingers).
The voice quality is not very exhilarating it must be said, but I had real problems so far no. The tap only on display without haptic feedback is used to, but because it comes just not drum rum, unless one buys a part with fold real keyboard as the somewhat outdated Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro (although there are certainly newer models ;)).
The first day was about the battery life nice and slowly going back (about 20-25% per day in standby incl. A few WhatsApp messages). The display then went suddenly back twice as fast as usual ... maybe lay's yes at the Nachthimmel- and weather app I temporarily had it? Well anyway I could 2 days ago on the latest version of Android (4.4. KitKat) update (which does not go the way of all "cheap phones" !!) ... it went without any problems, and since then my battery consumption for some reason is still less than before .... so about 15% per day, including a few standby WhatsApp messages and also without switched Battery saver function (the display is with me almost always on the darkest stage;. for indoor which is ok for me but some need as a safe level to be able to recognize good at everything brighter. But the evening is enough "unfilled sun" as a symbol of all).
The display is super sharp. FULLY I do not care if there is a mobile phone of any that has more pixels and is still better. I can not distinguish individual pixels.
The processor makes ne good job ... so he has not yet rumgezickt with me .... everything is beautiful liquid. As this may be for notorious video watchers, permanent players and / or permanent-app users, I can not judge, but these people will probably buy anyway more of a "fancy" flagship model.
The camera is really not a deal breaker, but if I had a Lumia 1020, I would be much too often gather dust my expensive photo equipment safely at home;) daytime reichts all for nice little pictures of (make for photographic evidence in the accident absolutely good enough) .. .In light bars should not be considered the images much larger than the display is great, but I have the Moto G is not even bought.
MEMORY
After my 5 itself installed and already played a dozen apps and images I have effectively 4.5GB of the 5.5 GB usable at the beginning (some of the 8 GB is needed for other programs / data) freely. If I do not have to do 100e images (with the camera I think that anyway), or sent get, or sometimes selbige folder / data "ausmiste" I come with the still 4.5GB safe from a very long time. If I had the choice, I would have to hire yet taken the 16 GB version, but gave it the red electronics giant not offer .... With Google Drive but every Moto G-buyer also has 2 years 50 GB of memory available when one more GB in ner cloud needs .... but it is only free for 2 years.
THE BOTTOM LINE
All together a great phone for so little money. With nem screen protection and Handycase also falls are hopefully still bearable;) It's definitely great for people (like me) who want to buy their first smartphone / need, without wishing to exhaust this with thousands of apps / pictures / videos to the last.
ADDENDUM TO 6 MONTHS ---> ONLY 2 STAR:
The battery seems really regularly "under 20%" "0%" to jump at once and to call for an immediate charge. Sometimes this works, sometimes then erreichts no 100% more, sometimes the display then jumps to load from 70 to 100% !!! Useless Anyway, for me, if I must not come below 20% !!!! Become the part soon exchanged at MM !!!
