2) The device itself
I opted for the device, because I now full of HP after two printers that have given up the ghost at more occasional use after 3 years, the nose.
I also wanted to have no cost device, but a robust device that can fax, can print on both sides and can be connected to a LAN and two separate A4 - paper cassette has (scrap paper / "clean" paper). It should also have a glass surface A4 for copies, and (not compulsory) a memory card reader.
All this fulfills the unit.
The device makes a robust impression, there is certainly more stable devices, but I was surprised more positive at this price.
The display is large and clear, the menu navigation is simple.
Printouts run quickly (in this price range, no man can tell me seriously that he considers it important that even 19 pages per minute to come out!), And also the photo printing is acceptable for my needs. If I want to have high-quality and especially PERMANENT photo prints, I order this anyway over the net in a (pressure) laboratory.
Minor criticisms:
- The ADF (automatic feeder for multiple sheets) holds only 15 sheets, who should know that here longer needed.
- When you open the top cover (if you want to put individual sheets on the glass surface) opens the bypass tray with a loud clatter. That's not so bad, but in my view, a design flaw.
- The bypass tray at the rear side of the device can be really fed only with a sheet, not a stack of originals, but there are also other possibilities, such as the 2.Papierkassette.
To scan function and to reach the ink I can not say anything yet, maybe I complete this information again later.
I now hope that the device will serve you well long to me.
I forgive only four stars because the manual is only very superficially and, moreover, included only on CD and worked installing the network only with difficulty.
