I knew the Hexbugs already, as I found on Amazon a provider that the little crawling critters for about 1.50 / pcs. sold. Half a dozen and I ordered half a dozen functioning Hexbugs I received. All different "styled", but the design was in all cases the same, namely that shown on the product image. It was a vacation day to be bridged and all other pursuits were just not popular, so I took out the Hexbugs, whereupon the two children their LEGO Duplo chest snapped and with admirable dedication a huge course built to crawl through your new house animals. It was cheered, giggled and the course refined in places where the eKäfer caught too easily. So close to dead ends had to be avoided, what the guys quickly realized. One Hexbug had for my taste too strong tendency to right-handers, but generally worked presumably driven by random averaging control so well that the course was, sooner or later go through completely. I'm a little unsure why the Hexbugs cost around 9-10 euros otherwise (at least here in HH). Because this far cheaper copies can exactly what the resurrected a year ago for sixfold products could Sure, the right batteries (each bug had a battery already installed interchangeably) one should have in stock, and a supply of rechargeable energy storage would be great, but I got everything that I have paid. Will I buy the next child's birthday perhaps again in larger quantities (as a profit or for Mitnehmtütchen at parting), especially if the price is not increased.
