The smoothie maker does what it should, looks good and runs almost every day without error since several months now. The only complaint is that it is extremely loud. I'm normally not sensitive, but I have in my life have never heard such loud blender. I have a competing product from Melissa tested with friends, which is much quieter. However, there was the Mixleistung not optimal. Maybe you just have to take a little compromise at this price. Higher quality materials or better insulation will cost a bit more certainly. I hope nevertheless the plastic blender still keeps a while =)
