'Is an existence without desire very Desirable?' This and other questions are answered in the novel 'Slumdog Millionaire', Previously published as 'Q & A', written by Vikas Swarup in 2005. It is about an orphan boy called Ram Mohammad Thomas, who can answer all the questions of the show Who Will Win A Billion? (W3B) Because of his life experience. The novel takes place in India and starts in Dharavi, Indian's biggest slum. At the age of eighteen he travels to Agra to take part in the quiz show and takes revenge. 'I have been arrested. For winning a quiz show. ' He has to explain how he can answer the questions, illustrated by his life experience, child abuse, love, persecution, poverty, destiny and friendship Ram passes through with his best friend Salim. It is shown by flashbacks through the whole story. I would recommend 'Slumdog Millionaire' to everyone who is interested in to exciting and riveting story of love, tragedy and comedy. The novel contains a moral deed tells you to never give up. It therefore offers a worthwhile take on life. All in all it is one of the best books I have ever read.
