Good thing you have friends who know that we like this noble beverage full of surprises and nuances, and 24 December is a great day to be constantly surprised. So this in 2013 :)
First, I first had to google to ever pronounce the name of this whiskey can. But the mnemonic "Och (s) e" helped me then, but to call this pretty quickly right.
... And, this whiskey, matured over 12 1/2 years in 3 different barrels to skin an ox somehow. Will not tell you the biggest, but we convinced this Auchentoshan from the beginning "beary" with its soft and versatile flavor, yet perfectly balanced on the tongue lying, and with a finish that is easy to describe as "fantastic".
My conclusion: A still financially viable, highly recommendable tongue treat!
