This book is not for the faint souls. For others, welcome the bloodiest Maltese epic that I read. A medieval carved by ax weapon, a few well-chosen characters, a nobleman who is away from the tearful Princess to Disney and another strange female character and quite right in his madness. Here are the ingredients of this novel, 900 pages seat Malta by the Ottoman not seen without. They are rare these pavers almost 1000 pages which is to be absolutely read more in stride. The book "The Pillars of the Earth" for example is a good book but once reached the end you are content to put his nose in something other than Ken Follet for some time. There I wanted more, the pace is enough just to avoid lécœurement or boredom as epic and thrilling story. In short, a book in the image of its author, this mountain with a red beard that could have very well seen in "Braveheart" in kilts with Mel Gibson.
